Terms

Effective 11 September 2026

The agreement

By using JSONForge you agree to these terms. JSONForge is a free, static web application: the pages, the editor and every operation are files downloaded into your browser. There is no account, so there is nothing to sign into and nothing to cancel.

What the service is

The site formats, validates, converts, repairs, queries and diffs JSON. It is a tool, not a legal, financial or professional advisory service, and its output is not advice — check the results yourself before you rely on them.

Your content stays yours

You keep every right to the JSON you paste or open. Because each operation runs locally (see the privacy policy), we never receive a copy and therefore cannot use, publish, share or delete it. You are responsible for having the right to process whatever you load.

What we ask of you

Use the site lawfully. Do not try to disrupt it for others, do not attempt to bypass its security measures, and do not use it to handle material you have no legal right to handle.

Advertising and third parties

The site is free and funded by advertising and anonymous, cookie-free analytics. Those third parties are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not by this page.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free.

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from decisions you take based on the tool's output. Because the service is free, our total liability is limited to what you paid for it — which is nothing.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version appears on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
